# Components:

→ Burger Patties

01 - 1 1/2 pounds ground beef (80/20 blend)
02 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
03 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
04 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
05 - 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
06 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

→ Assembly

07 - 4 slices cheddar cheese or pepper jack cheese
08 - 4 hamburger buns
09 - 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
10 - Lettuce leaves
11 - Tomato slices
12 - Red onion slices
13 - Pickles (optional)
14 - Butter, for toasting buns

# Directions:

01 - Combine ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper in a large mixing bowl. Mix gently and form into 4 evenly sized patties, pressing a slight indentation in the center of each.
02 - Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
03 - Grill the patties for 4 to 5 minutes per side or until preferred doneness is achieved. During the final 1 minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty and cover to allow cheese to fully melt.
04 - While the burgers cook, lightly butter each hamburger bun and toast on the grill until golden brown.
05 - Spread BBQ sauce on both the top and bottom bun halves. Layer the bottom half with lettuce, a cheeseburger patty, tomato slices, red onion slices, and pickles if desired. Finish with the top bun.
06 - Serve immediately with fries, potato chips, or a simple salad on the side.
