Donut Stack Christmas Ornament (Print)

Stacked mini donuts decorated as colorful ornaments create a festive holiday centerpiece.

# Components:

→ Donuts

01 - 36 mini plain or glazed donuts (store-bought or homemade)

→ Decorations

02 - 2 cups powdered sugar
03 - 3 to 4 tablespoons milk
04 - Food coloring (red, green, blue, gold, silver, as desired)
05 - Sprinkles, edible glitter, or colored sugar
06 - Assorted candies (mini M&Ms, silver dragees)
07 - Mini pretzel sticks or chocolate sticks for ornament hooks

→ Assembly

08 - 1 large food-safe foam or cardboard cone (approximately 12 to 14 inches tall), or wrapped in parchment paper
09 - Toothpicks

# Directions:

01 - In a mixing bowl, combine powdered sugar with milk, adding milk gradually until a thick yet pourable glaze forms. Divide the glaze into smaller portions and tint each with desired food coloring.
02 - Dip or drizzle each mini donut with the colored icing. While the icing is still wet, embellish with sprinkles, edible glitter, and assorted candies to resemble Christmas ornaments. Allow to set for 10 to 15 minutes.
03 - Wrap the foam or cardboard cone with food-safe wrap or parchment paper to prevent sticking and maintain hygiene during assembly.
04 - Starting at the base of the cone, attach decorated donuts securely using toothpicks, working upward with slight overlaps to fully cover the cone surface.
05 - Insert mini pretzel sticks or chocolate sticks into the top of each donut to simulate ornament hooks or caps.
06 - Optionally dust the assembled tower with additional edible glitter for a sparkling finish. Present as a festive edible centerpiece.
