# Components:

→ Steak & Marinade

01 - 1.5 pounds sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
04 - 1 teaspoon salt
05 - 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

→ Aromatics & Herbs

06 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
07 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
08 - 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
09 - 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves or 0.5 teaspoon dried thyme

→ Optional Garnish

10 - Lemon wedges, for serving

# Directions:

01 - Combine steak cubes with olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper in a mixing bowl. Toss thoroughly and allow to marinate for at least 10 minutes at room temperature.
02 - Heat a large skillet, preferably cast iron, over medium-high heat until hot.
03 - Arrange steak cubes in a single layer in the skillet. Cook undisturbed for 2 to 3 minutes, then turn and cook another 2 minutes until evenly browned and cooked through. Work in batches to prevent overcrowding if necessary.
04 - Reduce heat to medium. Move steak bites to one side of the pan. Add unsalted butter and minced garlic, stirring until garlic is fragrant for about 30 seconds.
05 - Toss steak bites with garlic butter. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and thyme, then serve immediately. Garnish with lemon wedges if desired.

  • This steak is super juicy and the garlic-butter sauce coats every piece like a little secret weapon for flavor.
  • Cleanup is a breeze since everything happens in one pan – perfect for busy evenings.
02 -
  • Don't crowd the pan or your steak will steam instead of sear – I learned this after a soggy attempt once.
  • Marinating for even just 10 minutes makes the steak noticeably more flavorful; skipping it isn't worth it.
03 -
  • Always let the steak rest for a minute after cooking, it's juicier that way.
  • The last swirl of butter in the pan makes the steak bites extra silky and fragrant – don't skip it.
