04 - Transfer mixture to a greased 8x8-inch baking dish, spreading evenly and smoothing the surface.
05 - Sprinkle additional Parmesan or mozzarella cheese on top for enhanced browning and flavor, if desired.
06 - Place dish in the oven and bake for 20–25 minutes until hot, bubbling, and lightly golden on top. For greater browning, broil for an additional 1–2 minutes watching closely.
