Crusty loaf filled with gooey cheese, garlic-herb butter, and fresh herbs. Irresistible, warm, and perfect for sharing.
# Components:
→ Bread Base
01 - 1 large round sourdough loaf (approximately 500g)
→ Cheese Filling
02 - 200g shredded mozzarella cheese
03 - 100g shredded sharp cheddar cheese
04 - 50g grated Parmesan cheese
→ Garlic Herb Butter
05 - 100g unsalted butter, melted
06 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
07 - 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
08 - 1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped
09 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
10 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
# Directions:
01 - Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
02 - Using a serrated bread knife, create deep crosshatch cuts into the sourdough loaf. Ensure you do not cut all the way through, leaving the base of the loaf intact.
03 - In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, finely chopped parsley, finely chopped chives, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly.
04 - Gently separate the scored sections of the bread. Drizzle or brush the prepared garlic butter mixture generously between all the cuts, ensuring the interior of the loaf is well coated.
05 - Evenly distribute and stuff the shredded mozzarella, cheddar, and grated Parmesan cheeses into all the crevices created in the bread.
06 - Loosely wrap the stuffed bread loaf in aluminum foil. Place the wrapped loaf onto the prepared baking sheet.
07 - Bake for 15 minutes, then carefully unwrap the foil. Continue baking for an additional 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and the bread achieves a golden, crisp crust.
08 - Serve the Stuffed Cheese Garlic Pull-Apart Bread warm. Encourage guests to pull apart pieces to share and enjoy.
