→ Balsamic Reduction
07 - 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
08 - 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
→ Finishing
09 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
10 - Flaky sea salt, to taste
11 - 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
# Directions:
01 - In a small saucepan, combine balsamic vinegar and honey. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently until reduced by half, approximately 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
02 - Spread the arugula evenly on a large serving platter or in a salad bowl.
03 - Distribute the cubed watermelon uniformly over the arugula.
04 - Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese, sliced red onion, and chopped mint leaves over the salad. Add nuts if desired.
05 - Pour the extra-virgin olive oil over the salad.
06 - Drizzle the cooled balsamic reduction over the salad.
07 - Season with freshly ground black pepper and a light pinch of flaky sea salt. Serve immediately.
