03 - 7 ounces chopped dark or milk chocolate

→ Optional Toppings

04 - ¼ cup chopped roasted peanuts
05 - ¼ cup shredded coconut
06 - ¼ cup mini chocolate chips
07 - ¼ cup sprinkles

# Directions:

01 - Peel bananas and cut each in half crosswise. Insert a wooden popsicle stick into the cut end of each banana half.
02 - Place banana halves on a parchment-lined tray and freeze for 1 hour until firm.
03 - Spread 1 tablespoon of creamy peanut butter evenly over each frozen banana half using a small spatula or knife.

05 - Melt the chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water or microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.

09 - Serve directly from the freezer and enjoy.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • Its a guilt-free treat that tastes indulgent but is mostly fruit and real ingredients.
  • You can customize every single pop with toppings the kids (or you) actually want.
  • No oven, no mixer, no mess beyond a little melted chocolate.
02 -
  • If your chocolate is too thick, stir in half a teaspoon of coconut oil to thin it out and make dipping smoother.
  • Dont skip the peanut butter layer, it acts like glue and keeps the chocolate from cracking off when you bite in.
03 -
  • Freeze the finished pops on a flat tray first, then transfer them to a container once solid so they dont stick together.
  • Use slightly underripe bananas if you want them to hold their shape better and be less mushy when frozen.
