# Components:

→ Bread

01 - 4 slices sourdough or rustic country bread

→ Cheese & Filling

02 - 1 ball burrata cheese (about 4.2 oz), drained and torn into pieces
03 - 1 medium ripe tomato, thinly sliced
04 - 8 to 10 fresh basil leaves

→ Spreads & Seasonings

05 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
06 - 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
07 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

# Directions:

01 - Butter one side of each bread slice lightly; set these sides as the sandwich exteriors.
02 - On the unbuttered side of two bread slices, layer torn burrata, tomato slices, and basil leaves; season with salt and pepper.
03 - Place the remaining bread slices on top, buttered side facing outward.
04 - Warm olive oil over medium heat in a large nonstick skillet.
05 - Grill sandwiches for 3 to 4 minutes per side, pressing gently with a spatula until golden brown and cheese is melted.
06 - Remove from heat, allow to cool for one minute, then slice and serve immediately.
